Our story
The Wine Route Valencia was born out of a passion for wine, gastronomy, and hospitality. Kirsten Bras, masters in Wine, Tourism & Innovation, combined her knowledge of the wine world with her love for Valencia to create an unique experience: a walking route along the best local wine bars in Valencia.
During her master’s degree, Kirsten discovered the world of wine in Spain, France, and Portugal, and gained experience in vineyards and winemaking. She discovered that wine is all about people, places, and moments, and that is exactly what our Valencia wine walk offers.
Our 3-hour route allows you to discover the city in an authentic way, with local wines, bites, and stories you won’t hear anywhere else. It’s the perfect combination of culture, gastronomy, and adventure.

I’m Kirsten Bras, founder of The Wine Route Valencia, an idea born out of my love for wine, hospitality, and the beautiful city of Valencia, which I have been lucky enough to call home for many years.
My journey into the world of wine began during my Master’s degree in Wine, Tourism & Innovation, which gave me an in-depth look at everything related to wine. The program took me to Spain, France, and Portugal, three of the most important wine countries in the world, where I had the opportunity to learn everything about grape growing, winemaking, marketing, tourism, and the experiences that make wine unique.
In addition, I enjoyed working during the harvest season for two summers, where I was directly involved in winemaking. That experience brought me even closer to the essence of wine: patience, passion, and the story behind every glass.
